The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said:
“The best of women among the people of Paradise are Khadijah bint Khuwaylid, Fatima bint Muhammad, Maryam bint ‘Imran, and ‘Asiyah bint Muzahim, the wife of Pharaoh.”

In this session, we will explore the life and times of Asiya, daughter of Muzahim, wife of Pharaoh in the time of Prophet Musa عليه السلام, the one who prayed, My Lord, build for me, with You, a house in Paradise.

This course is suitable for both absolute beginners as well as those with previous Islamic knowledge.

About The Instructor

Ustadha Amina studied medicine at the University of Liverpool. Alongside her undergraduate medical studies, she completed the three year Micro Madrasa programme. Thereafter she completed advanced studies in menstruation rules, and the three year Arabic Madrasa programme.

Ustadha Amina has taught several courses in the past for Quba Initiative in Manchester, and currently teaches an annual course on the rules of female purity for the Micro Madrasa.

At present, Ustadha Amina lives in Leeds with her husband, and works as a GP. She teaches with Rawdah Trust, an organisation based in Leeds, who provide Islamic education for the local community. In her religious studies she is currently focusing on Arabic and Islamic law.
