About The Event

Join us for a gathering of Qur'an, salawat (durood), and poetry in praise of the Noble Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him. We will be reciting the famous poem, The Shimmering Light, authored by one of the preeminent scholars of our time, al-Habib Umar bin Hafiz (Yemen).

About The Speaker

​Ustadha Aliya Rahim has been a teacher for the Rawda Madrasa for children at Felicity House, Liverpool since its inception in 2017 and is also a teacher at Dar al-Zahra based in Liverpool, where she teaches young women (13-18) the rudimentary aspects of their faith. 

Never do they hear a mention of Ta-Ha, The Chosen One, except that by it, the corrosion (on their hearts) vanishes and they become revived
