The Qasida Al-Burda (The Poem of the Mantle), known as The Burda, is a poem in praise of The Prophet ﷺ. It was composed by Al Busiri in the 7th century Hijri and is one of the most widely recited and memorised poems in the world. Learn more at www.qasidaburda.com

We're honoured to welcome Shaykh Haroon Hanif and guests to Manchester for a complete recital of the famous Qasida Burdah in dedication to Sidi Mouaz al-Nass, the son of Shaykh Samir al-Nass. Sidi Mouaz was a profuse lover inshad (remembrance of Allah through spiritual song), and specifically of the Qasida Burda.

Sidi Mouaz passed on to His Lord only a short few days after Eid al-Fitr 2023, may Allah have mercy on his soul. Join us to celebrate his life, which he truly dedicated to the praise of the Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam.
