 ABOUT THE TEACHER
After studying in the UK with qualified scholars whilst studying Medicine at the University of Liverpool, Shaykh Siddiq Mitha spent 9 years abroad in the land of Jordan studying Islam with some of the worlds leading Islamic scholars. He also spent time in Mauritania and Yemen, in some of the most famous centres of teaching in the Muslim world. You can read more about Shaykh Siddiq and his journey here.

ABOUT THE COURSE
This introductory year of beginners Islamic studies covers the essentials every Muslim must learn. Subjects include: Beliefs (Aqeedah), Worship (Fiqh), and Spirituality (Purification of the Soul).

Over the course of the year, students will study the following three books:

• Beliefs: A commentary on the Creed of Imam al-Dardir
• Worship: Tuhfat al-Muluk (Hanafi Fiqh)
• Spirituality: The Refinement of Souls

​On successful completion of the course students will receive an accredited certificate.
